Theresa Doloski

Theresa Doloski, aged 93, died at Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet on Wednesday, January 24th. Theresa was born one of seven siblings in Austria in 1930. At 19, she traveled to England on a work program where she met and eventually married Mike Doloski. In 1961 they emigrated to the United States. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1997, along with her siblings Katharina, Anna, Maria, Aloisia, and Franz.

Theresa leaves her children, Christine, Roman (Pamela), and Michael (Jennifer) to mourn her loss. Her greatest joys in life were her eight grandchildren: Matt (Lisa), Trevor, Rebecca, Anna, Caleb, Joshua, Daniel, and David and two great-granddaughters, Ella and Ava. She is survived by one sister, Margaret, as well as many other nieces and nephews in Europe. She also leaves her best friend, Kym Kmiec.

Theresa loved her church, her family, a good cup of coffee, dark chocolate, Jelly Babies, and Limburger cheese. She enjoyed playing Uno, could make $20 in a slot machine last for an hour, and thought Chutes & Ladders was the worst game ever.

Funeral Monday, 10:00 am, from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn to St. Bernadette Church, Evergreen Park for Mass at 11:00 am.

Interment St. Mary Cemetery.

Visitation Monday from 8:30 am until time of prayers at 10:00 am.
