Thomas J. Matuszak

Thomas John Matuszak died on October 9, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.  Tom was born on July 30, 1959, to Eugene and Florence Matuszak. He is survived by his wife, Maribeth; his four children, Maura (Erik) Wallenius, Matthew (Ali) Matuszak, Timothy Matuszak, and T.J. Matuszak; and his two granddaughters, Saoirse and Maeve.  Tom is also survived by his brother Paul (Hedy) Matuszak, and his sister Cathy (Jeff) Harrington.  Tom loved to sit out on the deck listening to music and enjoying a good cigar and a better bourbon.  He will be deeply and truly missed by his family and friends.  

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.  

Memorial visitation will be at Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn on Friday October 27, 2023, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Family and friends are to meet Saturday October 28, 2023 at St. Linus Catholic Church in Oak Lawn for an 11 A.M. Memorial Mass. Info 708-425-0500
