Rayna Lynn Grimaldi

Rayna Lynn Grimaldi, age 56, of Marion, Kentucky passed away on October 12, 2023 at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois.

Rayna was born on December 6, 1966 to Rodney & Dale Sharlene (Thomas) Grimaldi of Round Lake Heights, Illinois. Rayna and her mother moved to Marion about 40 years ago, birthplace of her grandmother, Della Mae (Walker) Thomas. Della had returned to Marion herself in 1983.

Born with a whole in her heart, Rayna was challenged in life from the very beginning. Not expected to live past the age of eighteen, she far surpassed those odds. Even though she had many health issues throughout her lifetime, she never let anything get her down. She was a true fighter in every sense of the word. She loved life and always had a smile to share. May she rest in peace.

She was preceded in death by her parents Rodney Nicholas & Dale Sharlene (Thomas) Grimaldi.
