Prior to her marriage to Raymond, Josephine worked as an Executive secretary for Extension Magazine in Chicago. She was a wonderful cook and loving servant to family and friends and always had a meal ready for anyone in need. She would often pick up strangers on the street and drive them to where ever they needed to go. She volunteered for many church activities including: the Saint Linus Guild, the Rosary Makers, and the Pro-Life Group. She was named St. Linus Woman of the Year in 1992 and was admitted into the Lay Carmelite Order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in 2002. She was a loving grandmother who traveled near and far to babysit her numerous grandchildren and help with housework. During her time at Michaelson's Health Care Center she made many friends even though her speech was failing. She will be dearly missed by all.
