Elizabeth A. Mercsanics

Elizabeth A. Mercsanics, 89, beloved daughter of the late Martin and Anna Mercsanics; fond sister of the late Joseph C. Stefan; devoted aunt to Lorraine Sheppard, Joseph Stefan, Jr. and Maureen McNulty Hall; great aunt to nieces and nephews: and cousin to many. Betty worked as a loyal and lifelong operator for the phone company. She had a deep faith as a Catholic Christian, prayed her Rosary, was a proud member of St. Gerald Catholic Church and an ardent viewer of EWTN. She was charming with her generous charitable spirit and quirky sense of humor. Betty had an exceptional fondness for Fannie Mae Chocolates and the Illinois Lottery! Visitation 9:30 am Wednesday March 25 at St. Gerald Catholic Church, Oak Lawn followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial. Internment Resurrection Cemetery - Justice.
