Ann Kathyrn Palumbo (nee Polich, age 94) “Peppy” Beloved wife of the late Albert L. Palumbo (Charlie).Devoted mother of Gary (late Linda) Palumbo, Charles Palumbo and Diane Palumbo (Scott Mortenson).  

Cherished grandmother of Ryan (Marilyn Chourarath), Dr. Nicole Palumbo (John) and Nicholas (Jacqueline) Palumbo.  

Great grandmother to Atlas and Phoebe Chourarath Palumbo.

Treasured daughter of the late Milka nee Kostelic & Vicktor Polich formerly of Croatia.

Fond sister of the late Mary Horn, the late Joseph (Beatrice) Polich, the late Mildred (Jack) Molenar, Bertha (late Hampton) Hayner and the late Blanche Polich.  

Loving aunt to so so many.

Ann was born in Hibbing Minnesota.  She worked at Firestone and after moving to Illinois, she was a secretary in the counseling department at Oak Lawn Community High School.  She retired after 25 years of service.  Peppy was a world traveler, had many talents such as sewing, crochet and quilting and loved to cook and prepare wonderful meals for family and friends. Ann’s spirit will live on through the many meaningful relationships that she created during her lifetime.  

Funeral Wednesday, April 9th, 9:15 am from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn to St. Gerald Church for Mass at 10:00 am.

Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Visitation Wednesday from 8:30 am until the time of prayers at 9:15 am.

In lieu of flowers, take a friend to dinner.
