Sister Renee Humble, RSM

Sister Renee Humble was a beloved Sister of Mercy for 80 years. She was a loving daughter of Grant and Elizabeth (Clancy) Humble and a fond sister of John and Gerald. She was a cherished aunt of Renee, Christopher, Mark, Grant, Matthew, Paul, John, and several grand-nieces & nephews.

Sister Renee served in a variety of ministries but formally in healthcare. She was a nurse, teacher and administrator of several healthcare facilities across Illinois. When she retired from nursing, she worked at Hesed House, a homeless shelter in Aurora as well as a pastoral care associate for over 20 years.

Services for Sister Renee will be held Friday April 25, 2025 in Mercy Chapel at 10:30 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am in Mercy Hall, 10044 S. Central Park in Chicago. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Sisters of Mercy, 10024 S. Central Park, Chicago, IL 60655 would be greatly appreciated.
