Darlene D. Andersen

Darlene Doris Andersen of Clermont, Florida, passed away on Saturday March 23, 2024, at the age of 84. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on May 14, 1939. Darlene was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Oak Lawn, Illinois, up until her move to Florida in 2020. She worked for a dental surgeon working as an assistant and office manager. She married the love of her life, Donald Andersen, on September 17, 1960. Darlene’s hobbies included sewing and volunteering with her church and children’s activities.

Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, Zammy who was her favorite person, and Emmie her beloved boxer.

Darlene is survived by her husband of 63 years Donald Andersen; children Mark (Ann Marie) Andersen, Todd (Cindy) Andersen, and Jill (Ken) Blattner; brother Bill Trischank and sister Marsha Dement; grandchildren Sarah Andersen, Michelle Andersen, Trevor (Ariel) Andersen, Taylor Andersen, Tara (Caleb) Andersen Benzing, Tyler Andersen, Jordan Blattner, Kaitlyn Blattner, and Brandon Blattner; great grandchildren Bennett Andersen and Gianna Deleonardo.

Funeral Service 11 am Saturday July 13th at Trinity Lutheran Church, 9701 Brandt Ave. in Oak Lawn.
