Joseph Andrew Brudnak, 90, of Mequon Wisconsin passed away on December 31, 2022 after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. His friends and family were by his side as he drifted off to be with the Lord. He was born to Andrew and Teresa Brudnak of Chicago, IL on October 20th 1932.
With a degree in Chemical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, he worked worked tirelessly his whole life developing enzymes, probiotics, water purification systems, plant based meat substitutes, flavors, antimicrobials, and many other products for the food industry. He co-founded MAK Wood Inc., a very successful 39 year old company supplying ingredients to the food industry. He enjoyed curling, model aircraft building, business and cheering his kids on at sporting events.
He was preceded to our Father by his son Andrew Brudnak and his daughter Kathryn Brudnak.
Joseph is survived by his son, Mark Brudnak and grandson, Benjamin “Benny” Brudnak.
Funeral service will take place Saturday, January 21st at Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 West 95th Street in Oak Lawn at 11:00 am.
Interment Evergreen Cemetery in Evergreen Park, Il.
Visitation Saturday, January 21st from 9:00 am until the time of Service at 11:00 am. Friends and family are invited.
