Cherished grandmother of Sarah (Michael) Szambelan, Mitchell Borkowski, Ryan Brandt, Stewart Licursi, Madison Martinez, Kira Compton, Van Kosty, Aidan Martinez, Miles Martinez, Brandt Compton, Lauren Licursi, Gabby Licursi & Harrison Brandt.

Proud great-grandmother of Rocco Szambelan & Leo Szambelan.

Dear sister of Michael Burke (Jane) & the late Thomas Burke (Patricia).

Fond aunt of many nieces & nephews.

Loving mother and lifelong resident of Oak Lawn, Mary was an active civic volunteer and avid member of her Church community. Mary courageously faced many challenges to her health, relying on her strong faith and love of her family and friends to see her through. She will be dearly missed by all.

Funeral Saturday 11:15 am from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn to St. Gerald Church for Mass at 12:00 noon.

Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Visitation Friday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
