Mary C. Shreffler

Mary Claire Shreffler nee Quinn, age 85, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Robert Shreffler, proud mother of Marybeth Trilling, Debra (Michael) Minnella, and Donald Trilling. Stepmother to Luann Reinitz and cherished grandmother of Meghan Minnella (Emilio Reyes) and Nicholas Minnella.

She was preceded in death by her parents John J. Quinn, Sr. and Mary Quinn (Conway), brother John J. Quinn, Jr. and sister Ellen Mykrantz.

She is survived by her siblings, Hugh (Fr. Gavin) Quinn, James(Patt) Quinn and Kathleen Quinn, her sister-in-law Marilyn Quinn and brother-in-law Chris Mykrantz. She was the loving aunt of many nieces & nephews.

Mary Claire was born on September 1, 1936, in Cleveland, OH. She will be remembered for her loving and giving nature, playfulness, strength and endearing stubbornness. She was a doting grandmother and a supporter of veteran groups and other causes in her community. Mary loved and was loved by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home at 5570 W. 95th St., on Friday, September 23, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
