76 years old

Gail passed peacefully Friday morning, July 29, 2022 surrounded by family. Survived by two sons: Gregory (Kristina) Bates of Saint James City, FL and Timothy Bates of Lima, OH., four grandchildren: Cayla Bates, Kyle (Brittany) Latimer, Timothy (Anna) Bates Jr, and Michael Bates; four great grandchildren and two brothers: John (Irene) Ferrell, Wayne WV and David Ferrell, Morristown, TN. 

She was preceded in death by both parents Richard & Mary Ferrell, husband William F. Kennedy, daughter in law Laura Bates, and 11 brothers and sisters. 

Gail lived an active life with friends dancing, bowling, playing cards, and enjoyed listening to live music. 

There will be a Celebration of life luncheon from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Thursday, August 4th at the Lima Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #370, 800 West Robb Ave., Lima, OH. Please bring photos you would like to share if you have them.
