Marilyn C. Moser

Marilyn C. Moser (nee Miller) of Oak Lawn, IL passed away peacefully at the age of 77 at Christ Advocate Hospital on July 8, 2022.

Marilyn is the beloved wife of Robert Moser for 54 years and mother to Shari (Bob Ross), Wendy (Mike Carter) and Mike (Jody Menaker) and dear grandmother of Michelle, Brendan and Julie Ross, Owen and Addison Carter and Henry Moser. Marilyn was a proud graduate of Mother McAuley High School and DePaul University in Chicago.

Marilyn loved golf, bowling and tennis and spent many happy summer vacations camping. She spent her life raising and caring for family and enjoyed being a wonderful grandma to her 6 grandchildren . She worked for many years at the A.E.R.O. Special Education Cooperative in Burbank, IL. She was a 23-year breast cancer survivor and proudly wore pink to commemorate her victory.

She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Clara Miller and brothers Len and Herb Miller. In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her brother James Miller of San Francisco, CA.

Marilyn’s last wish was to donate her body to Northwestern University Medical School for research and teaching. In lieu of flowers, Marilyn’s family asks that donations in her name be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
