Susan M. Paskey

Susan Marie Paskey, 50, of Oak Lawn, Illinois, passed away at home suddenly on October 19, 2022.

Sue was born on December 9th, 1971 to Shirley and Daniel Paskey in Chicago. After graduating from William J. Bogan Computer Technical High School, she briefly attended the Illinois Institute of Technology before leaving to pursue advertising and the hospitality service industry.

Sue was predeceased by Daniel B. Paskey, father and Shirley A. Paskey, mother. She is survived by Kenneth W. Polacek (Carol), brother; Karen M. Polacek, sister; David A. Paskey (Kelli), brother; Jim Arvetis, long-time companion; Jessica L. Polacek, niece; Daniel J. Paskey, nephew; Ethan D. Paskey, nephew; and many loving cousins and friends.

Sue could always lighten your day with her sense of humor and her rapid-fire, hilarious stories. She was a kind soul who was always there for her friends, and we will miss her very much.

Visit with friends and family at Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W 95th St, Oak Lawn, IL, on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a brief celebration of Sue’s life.
