Cherished grandmother of Zachary, Sofia, Brian M., Kevin Jr., Ryan, Walter IV, & Madalynn.

Dear sister of Charlene Thomson, Dennis (Marilynn) Balcauski, & the late Rose Kennedy, Mary Liston, & Christine Konecny.

Fond aunt of many nieces & nephews.

Funeral Friday 8:45 am from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn to St. Linus Church for Mass at 9:30 am.

Interment St. Mary Cemetery.

Visitation Thursday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Proud former member of St. Linus Church and active in Way Off Broadway.

Joan volunteered for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and served as Past President of the Marist High School Mother’s Club.
