Beloved Sister of Mercy for 76 years.

Devoted daughter of the late Ethel nee Hayes & Harry Burns.

Cherished sister of Robert, Eugene & Mary Jane Burns Du Mont.

Proud aunt of Patti Burns, Janeen (Mark) Kupiec, Cathy (Daniel) Mahaic, Selina (Shelby III) Smith, & the late Kathleen “Kit” Burns and many great nieces & great nephews.

Sister Betty was a teacher, principal, superior and registrar in Illinois and Wisconsin schools. In Chicago at Resurrection, St. Finbarr, St. Malachy, Little Flower and Mother McAuley High School; at St. Stephen Protomartyr in Des Plaines, St. Catherine of Siena in Oak Park, St. Joan of Arc in Skokie, St. Mary in Evanston, Notre Dame in Clarendon Hills, St. Mary in Riverside, and St. Patrick in Milwaukee, WI.

All Services and Interment private.
