Pearl E. Bean nee Ekblad, 96 years, of Evanston.

Beloved wife of the late Donald Bean.

Devoted daughter of the late Hulda nee Johansson & Enoch Ekblad.

Loving sister of the late Bernard & Bee Ekblad, Thurston & Ruth Ekblad & Ruby & Douglas Anderson.

Cherished aunt of Charlene Loomis, Howard Ekblad, Bruce Ekblad, Deborah Jarrell, Bryan Anderson, Karen Ekblad, &  Janice Cleary.

Proud great aunt of many nieces & nephews.

Resting at Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn where Services will take place Friday at 11:00 am.

Interment Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation Friday from 10:30 am until the time of Services at 11:00 am.

Pearl was born and raised in Chicago, graduated Wheaton College, had a successful career in business.  She previously resided in Skokie and Highland Park and moved to Lake Bluff after marrying Donald Bean in 1985.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Geneva Foundation of Presbyterian Homes, 8707 Skokie Blvd., Suite 400, Skokie, IL 60007  (please include Women’s Board/Pearl Bean in the memo) would be greatly appreciated.
