Cherished mother of Fred Jr. (Sally) Werner, Bruce (Beth) Werner, Joseph (the late Cathy Jo) Werner, Steven (Mary) Werner, Christine (Robert) Delia, Jeffrey (Kimberly) Werner &  Kevin (Debra) Werner.

Loving grandmother of 17.

Proud great grandmother of 29.

Devoted companion of the late William E. Prusinski.

Dear sister of August Dreher, Dolores Thomas, Kathleen Marshall, & the late Josephine Fulayter, Marie Ryan & Anna Valentine.

Fond aunt of many nieces & nephews, and “second mom” to several.

Treasured friend of many especially Terry Wasik & Kim Switek.

Funeral Tuesday 9:00 am from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn to Sacred Heart Church, Palos Hills, for Mass at 10:00 am.

Interment St. Mary Cemetery.

Visitation Monday, February 8 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Jean was an extraordinary volunteer for many organizations, including the Oak Lawn District “Guys & Gals” program for special needs adults, Palos Hospital, Oak Lawn Children’s Museum, School District 122 School Board, Oak Lawn Board of Appeals, St. Louis de Montfort Church, and Clara Court Homeowner’s Association.
