Helen Cuprisin nee Kissel, was 84 years old when she passed away peacefully on November 23, 2021 surrounded by her loving daughters.

Cherished wife of the late Michael Cuprisin. Loving mother of Sandra Cuprisin, Debra Harris and Laura (Ken) Wodarski. Dearest grandmother of Chloe, Daniel, Elliot and Zachary. Proud great grandmother of Jaxson and Nixon. Preceded in death by her father the late John Kissel and beloved daughter of the late Eva Kissel. Sister of the late Mary (Carl) Ponz. Fond aunt and great aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Helen, a social butterfly, was the owner of Alphabet Soup, a movie, music and theatre lover, an active member of the Evergreen Park and Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce, a supporter of the Evergreen Park Library, a political and environmental activist, a dedicated volunteer in her community, and very involved with St. Joseph Orthodox Church.

Resting at Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn where Visitation will take place Friday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Services will take place Friday November 26th at 7:00 pm. Funeral Saturday 10:00 am at St. Joseph Orthodox Church, 412 Crescent Street, in Wheaton. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
