Corrine G. Rosenbrock

Corrine Gail Rosenbrock passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 11. She was born on December 6, 1948 to William and Anna FitzHenry (nee Christiansen) in Chicago Illinois. Her parents lived in Blue Island at the time. The family then moved to Crete where she attended Crete public schools. She was a Girl Scout, volunteered as a Candy Striper at the hospital and was an active member of her church’s Youth Fellowship group.

She graduated from Crete-Monee High School in 1967. While in high school she began working at Goldblatt’s department store in Park Forest, which is where she met Ralph Rosenbrock. Corrine worked in retail sales for much of her life, eventually retiring from Kohl’s.

In May of 1969 she married Ralph and they spent the next 51 years living in Oak Lawn, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, two sons Eric (Mary) Rosenbrock and Brian (Amy) Rosenbrock, three grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, and Matthew all of Oak Lawn and two sisters, Carol FitzHenry of Chicago and Claudia FitzHenry of Santee, Ca.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 24 from 3:00 PM to 7:30PM, with the service immediately following.

Although Corrine loved flowers, she felt strongly that a better way to memorialize her was to help others

Private Interment will be at a future date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL
