Patricia L. Biernacki nee Mooney, 91 years of age, born March 17, 1926, died peacefully at Providence Nursing Home on October 9, 2017.

Beloved wife of the late Wenceslaus “Wally” Biernacki.

Loving mother of Deborah (Gerald) Dujsik & Donald (Win) Biernacki.

Cherished grandmother of Mark (Annette) Price,  Patrick Biernacki,  Meghan Biernacki  & Katie (Eric) Christenson.

Proud great grandmother of William & Wyatt Price.

Devoted daughter of the late Walter & Amanda Mooney.

Dear sister of the late Thomas & the late Violet Mooney & Edward (the late Grace) Stober.

Fond aunt of Colleen (Butch) Posch, Bernie (Mary) Biernacki & Carol (Peter) Marks.

Special great aunt of Stacy (David) Batzek, Lisa (Ken Heroux) Posch &  Heather (Brandon) Veldman and their families.

Treasured friend of many.

Funeral Saturday Lying in State at Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Maurice Church, 3615 S. Hoyne in Chicago from 9:00 am with a Mass at 10:00 am.

Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation Friday from 3 pm until 9 pm at Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn with a Reflection Service Friday at 7:00 pm.

Patricia served as housekeeper for St. Maurice Rectory for many years President of the Resident Council at Providence Nursing Home. She will be remembered for her quick wit, sense of humor, love of sweets-especially ice cream, her feisty spirit and unyielding faith.
