Sister Benedicta McCorry, R.S.M. Beloved Sister of Mercy for 80 years. Devoted daughter of the late Bridget nee McCoy & Charles McCorry. Cherished sister of Sister Aquinice, R.S.M., Teresa (the late Bud) Jones & the late Elizabeth & Carroll Schield, Daniel & Mary Ann McCorry & Mary & George Mullins. Loving aunt & great aunt of many nieces & nephews. Visitation Monday from 3 pm until 7 pm at Mercy Circle, 3659 W. 99th St. in Chicago with a Wake Service at 4:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10:30 am at Mercy Chapel, 3659 W. 99th St. in Chicago. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Longtime teacher, administrator and congregational leader. Sister's greatest joy was working with parishioners at Mount Carmel Retreat Center which she was instrumental in creating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Sisters of Mercy would be greatly appreciated.
