George Edward Freitag, born July 4, 1926. Beloved husband of Rosemarie nee Murphy for 68 years. Loving father of Michael (Deborah), Karen (Kenneth) Franz, Gail, Paul (Carol), Kevin (Mary Ann) & the late Brian Freitag. Cherished grandfather of 17. Proud great grandfather of 12 and soon to be 14. Dear brother of Dolores Copeland & the late Frank & Mary. Funeral Friday 10:15 am from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn to St. Gerald Church for Mass at 11:00 am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Thursday from 2 pm until 9 pm. Past President Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce, 1991-1992.
