Mary Elizabeth Nellis nee Hynes age 49 of Mansfield, Massachusetts passed away peacefully surrounded by her treasured family. Beloved wife of Thomas Nellis. Loving mother of Thomas Edward,Patrick Joseph & Sean Michael. Devoted daughter of Barbara nee Mitchell & Edward T. Hynes of Norwood, MA. Dear sister of Edward Hynes of Walpole, MA. & Margaret Hynes of Norwood, MA. Fond aunt of many nieces & nephews. Funeral 10:15 am Tuesday from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn to St. Linus Church for mass at 11:00 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Monday from 3 pm until 9 pm. Mary Beth had worked at the University of Chicago Mitchell Hospital as an oncology nurse, as well as South Suburban Hospital as a floor nurse. While working at Mitchell Hospital, she met and married her husband, Thomas W. Nellis. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Ronald McDonald House, 4410 W. 93rd St., Oak Lawn, IL 60453 would be greatly appreciated.
