Marcos O. Santander MD At rest August 21, 2012. Born in Cuba, he graduated from the University School of Medicine in 1954. He immigrated to the United States in 1955, becoming an American Citizen in 1961. A Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology, he practiced at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL for 35 years. He is survived by his sisters Dr. Julia Marina Chao, D.D. S. & Margarita Garcia. Uncle of Vivian Marquez, Leticia Little, Enrique Manuel Garcia & Thomas Garcia. Friend of Gwen Zimmerman, R.N. and numerous other personal and professional friends. Memorial Mass Friday 9:30 am at St. Germaine Church, 9711 S. Kolin Ave., in Oak Lawn. No Visitation and interment private. Arrangements entrusted to Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home.
